Logitech v270

For years I have used a USB wireless mouse with my laptops. I just can't seem to get used to a touchpad. The drawback, however, is that a USB wireless mouse always has some sort of USB dongle to deal with. I'm not always careful and I have been known to bust up USB ports.

Enter the
Logitech v270 bluetooth mouse. It is all but identical to my old Logitech wireless mouse, without the dongle. After a bit of researching and a few module recompiles, I got the new mouse working perfectly with my new Gentoo based, ahem, Macbook.

I didn’t buy it. It’s a work loaner. Shut up, it runs Gentoo and it was free, for now.

    Hi,
does the mouse connect automatically after the boot?
I have my V270 working nicely after the boot, except for the wheel
scrolling. Strange, after I pair it manually, the wheel works! I do not understand the reason…
    Thanx

Actually it works every time without me having to adjust or manually repair. Worse case I can see, make a script that runs at startup that re-pairs. It’s a dirty hack, but if it works, so be it :)
