NFL

Although I do understand that the Eagles were playing the Rams (last year they were 3-13), I still think they looked pretty darned good today. Sure, the score was 38-3 and Donnie Mac went 21-33 with 361 yards. Still, there was room for improvement. Glad to see Tony Hunt from Penn State punch in a 1 yard TD run. All in all, it seemed to be a good start.

Oh yeah, and in other news, the rumor around the NFL is that Tom Brady of the Patriots is out for the season with an ACL tear…

He's dead Jim
How the mighty have fallen…

Sorry Pats fans. Really, I am. I think the picture really says it all. The best part of it all was watching Bill Belichick run off the field even with 1 second left in the game. I understand, I’m splitting hairs, but come on. Be a better sport then that. He had the guts to run the score up on other teams this season, but doesn’t have the guts to stay and be a good sport?

I understand he is paid to be a ruthless coach and saying “he’s good at that” could be the understatement of the year. I understand he’s not paid to be a good sport and a decent human being full of sportsmanship, but come on man. Have just a bit of class…

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

My buddy TO does it again. That’s right, he cried (brutzed as us PA Dutch say) like a little kid with a skinned knee. Hahhaha, it really was quality entertainment. Any day that the Cowboys lose is a good day, and it is only amplified when they blow it in the playoffs.

SuperBowl XLI’s teams are set. The Chicago Bears representing the NFC and The Indianapolis Colts representing the AFC. Who will win? Who knows. It should be a good game. Let’s just hope and pray that the Bears don’t bring out another SuperBowl Shuffle.

SuperBowl Shuffle 1

SuperBowl Shuffle 2

SuperBowl Shuffle 3

SuperBowl Shuffle 4

SuperBowl Shuffle 5

If you aren’t old enough to remember what I am talking about, then you are the lucky one. Get up to speed by checking out Google Video. I actually used to own the record. Yes, the record.
