We have a Matthew in our family too! My husband was from the Knox/Shippenville/Clarion area. My husband's father's name was Paul Daubenspeck. From what I understand, his marriage to my husband's mom was his second marriage. They never really talked about his first marriage I guess ... so maybe we're related!!
