Tuesday, November 28, 2000The trip to New Hampshire was just what I needed. It was both exciting as well as relaxing...During the five day weekend, Jen and I took a short hike up a small mountain, to which I naturally took some decent snapshots.
We also took a trip to Boston's Museum of Science. It is a fairly great place to visit. It's not the most spectacular place on earth, but it is great for curing a few hours of boredom. Plus, the museum houses world's largest air-insulated Van de Graaff generator in it's Theater of Electricity.
If you have the means, I would definitely suggest a tour. I, for some unknown reason, forgot to bring my digital camera, so I am
without pictures of the museum itself. Maybe next time...

Wednesday, November 22, 2000It's 7:30am. I am off to New Hampshire to visit Jen and her parents for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I'm sure I will manage to squeeze a post in here and there, and I will return Monday sometime...

Monday, November 20, 2000  I finally broke down and bit the bullet. I purchased both the Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1 Digital and the matching FourPointSurround FPS2000 Digital speakers from Creative Labs this afternoon.
Gaming will never be the same...

As usual, we were bored and had nothing to do. We took a quick trip to Jim Thorpe, PA to take a short
hike around the Glen Onoko Falls. Since we haven't had much rain lately, the falls look rather small
compared to their normal appearance. Still, it was a great hike for a Saturday afternoon. The 2000 Glen Onoko Falls Climb images are now complete.

Wednesday, November 08, 2000 Just try and take a guess what that could possibly be. In a word, it's stupidity. That is what happens when someone tries to feed a cheap ink-jet transparency through a high quality laser printer. That and the fact that I have to take half the thing apart just to get at the fuser roller.

I just realized exactly how superstitious a person that I am... I had to roam from building to building upgrading some firmware on our Fore ATM network hardware, and I noticed that on all of the ATM switches, port 17 is always open, and I plug my laptop into that port every time.
17 is my "lucky number". I need help.
